[His grin fades as he looks down at her. He misinterprets the moment (although Sally may be fine with the way he interprets it, idk) and reaches to rest his hands on her hips, leaning in to brush his lips against hers and breathing] You know we're fine, right?
[He closes his own eyes, soaking in the moment before giving her a quick eskimo kiss and pulling away enough that he can see her face.] You want my gift first or you want to give me yours first?
You go. [ now that she's opening her eyes again, he can read the curiosity on her face like a neon sign. she wants to give him his gift, but she's way too intrigued to wait for hers. ]
[He smiles, digging around in his jacket pocket.] Don't get too excited. It's not that great, but it's the best I could do.
[He pulls out an origami heart with a small ribbon around it. If she pulls it apart, there's a message inside. It says "It's kind of lame this is all I can get you, because I'm pretty sure you're my best friend. But I hope you like it, from my heart to yours. Have a great space Christmas, and save me a Christmas kiss. ;) -John".] Kind of lame, but...
