hello, my name is rhino and i'm the world's cutest hedgehog. it's like the tooth fairy except less creepy. when someone's mad i come act adorable until nobody can be mad anymore. it's an art.
[Goddamnit she used Rhino. He hesitates with a sigh, then picks up the little hedgehog, taking the note off him. He reads the note and smiles (it's just not fair), taking Rhino inside with him.
John sets Rhino on the bed beside him, taking out his communicator. He hesitates again- he's still mad, honestly- but he types up a message.]
[ there's a long pause, because in a way he's not wrong. him being frustrated at her did take a backseat to her defending sirius, but if it were the other way around she would've defended him even if sirius got pissed over it. it's not the who, but the circumstance. ]
